"Unity in diversity" are not just words, but something that are highly applicable to a country like India that is incredibly rich in culture and heritage.  The culture here, is one of the oldest and unique. . It is also home to thousand year old ornately sculptured temples.   From the ancient times, India has always been famous for its traditions and hospitality. The warmth in the relations and euphoria in celebrations make the country stand out distinctively in the global fraternity. The country's liveliness and generosity attract a number of tourists to its vibrant culture which is an amalgamation of religions, festivals, food, art, crafts, dance, music and many other subtle things. Everything, from the culture and values to customs, rituals and traditions, is 'special' in this 'Land of Gods.'

            Venkateshwara also known as Shriniwasa Balaji, Vekaa, and Venkaacalapati, is a form of  Hindu god, LORD VISHNU. Alamelu also known as Alamelu manga and padmavati (often spelled "padmavathi" or "padmavathy"), is a Hindu devi believed to be a form of Lakshmi, the Hindu devi of wealth and good fortune. Alamelu Manga is the consort of Sri Venkateshwara .The name padmavati is Sanskrit for "she who emerged from lotus".

            Inspired by the grace of Lord Venkateshwara and our revered Guru Late Shri 1008 Pt.Vishnudutt Dixit of Varanasi Venkateshwara Padmavati Devasthanam Trust has been formed. It has been established  for service to God, and along with it we also propose to construct and maintain educational center, hospital ,meditation and prayer hall and homes/shelter for poor and disabled for the benefit  of the public at large.

The south Indian style of temple architecture is very distinct from that of the rest of India. Therefore, the temple has been proposed to be built in this style, having unique designs and art by the famous architect Mr. T. Murugeshan Sthapathi of Tamil Nadu related to the group of architects headed by Mr.Muthiah Sthapathi. He has been conferred "PADMASHRI" by the Hon'ble president of India  Shri R.Venkat Raman in the year 1990 for his good craft and work.

The temple will have five dimensions or prakara, inter connected with each other:

1- Raja Gopuram   

 2- Anivittimandapam

 3- Mahamandapam

4- Arthamandapam

5- Garbhalayam, to be known as "ANAND NILAYA"of Swamy ShriNiwas.

  The temple will be open for all level of society.

The work of trust will be beneficial to the public in many ways:-

·         Arts and design depicted in the inner and outer wall of the temple shall educate the visitors about the cultural and religious gravity of India.

·         24 X 7 recital of vedic mantras shall bring peace, health and prosperity across the place. This will help the society in bringing  positive attitude towards life.

·         Upliftment of the society by providing better living standard to the needy and poor.

·         Construction and maintenance of Shri Venkateshwara & Padmavati.

·         Meditation and prayer Hall for the benefits of the public.

·         Construction and running of schools, colleges,education institutions, free dispensaries, centres for poor feeding and homes for the aged for the benefit of the public.

·         Establishment of conduct maintenance of clinical laboratories, hospitals, nursing homes, dispensaries and   institutions of similar nature and providing financial assistance to the deserving persons for the medical treatment in any medical institution.

·         Providing financial assistance for performing annadhanam and feeding the poor directly and through other   institutions.

·         Establishment of conduct maintenance of old age homes for physically challenged men, women and children   and persons with similar disabilities and also for granting financial assistance to institutions performing   similar activities.

·         Grant of donation to any Temple, Gurudwara, Church, Mosque and other places of worship and / or religious institutions.

·         Providing for or contributing to education and scientific research and development.

·         Providing relief to the poor and advancing any other object of general public utility.

GLORIES OF BUILDING A TEMPLE:-

Padma purana:-"Mortals who help construct a temple of lord vishnu do not return to this world, they reached the abode of lord vishnu''.

Skandapurana:- "Just by  starting the construction the temple of lord shriniwas,sins committed in seven births will be wiped out and one will deliver his forefathers who are suffering in the hellish planets."

Vamanapurana:- "Whoever constructs or helps to construct a vishnu temple will protect eight generations of forefathers from falling into hell".

Agni purana:- "Having acquired wealth and build a temple with a small portion of it, a person acquires piety and gains favours from Hari"

Sanandasamhita:- "He who sponsors a temple of lord vishnu gains ten million times the merit accrued by yagna, austerities, charities,and pilgrimage."
